a journey to resurrection
Okay okay, I know that sounds ominous af, I promise it’s not.
It’s actually a collection of tools that I have used on my healing journey
that have changed my life,
and I’ve compiled them to hopefully help you along on yours as well.
let her die
by melissa dean
This is the funeral for who you were told to be, and the invitation to come home to who you’ve always been.
A collection of stories and tools that helped me find my way back to my highest self, so you can find yours, too.
Let Her Die is a gut-level call to stop shrinking, stop performing, and stop waiting for the “perfect moment” to become who you were always meant to be.
This isn’t a guidebook. It’s a mirror. It’s the raw truth of unraveling all the masks you’ve worn just to survive.
Written in midnight breakdowns, garage epiphanies, and whispered prayers, this book holds space for the version of you who's done pretending to be fine.
Each chapter dismantles the ego, reclaims your energy, and invites you to stop hiding from your own brilliance.
About melissa
Author. Photographer. Soul Journeyer.
I spent years feeling like I had to fit into a box. I constantly battled my worth, not feeling like I was enough, and often felt defeated.
When I started my healing journey, I had no idea what I was in for. Once I began setting intentions, learning about manifesting, and diving in headfirst into shadow work; I started healing parts of myself that were buried deep below the surface.
My work as a professional boudoir photographer supporting women on a healing journey brought so many things full circle. I started to realize so many of us are struggling with the same things. The tools that found me on my healing journey were also helping others on theirs, too.
I’m not here to give you answers. I’m here to hold space for your becoming. My book is an extension of that. Sharing my tools, holding space, and reminding you of who you are.
We do not need to become someone else. We need to shed the layers of who we thought we were supposed to be and reveal who we truly are.
You are exactly where you are supposed to be.
